Have you heard of the Reverse Graffiti Project sponsored by Green Works? Seriously, I think I'm gonna hire this guy to come do this in my shower.

I found this drawing on the kitchen table this morning. I was immediately taken by the symmetry, attention to detail, color choices, and precision. I knew Kenny had drawn and colored it - and he’s 5, so of course, I’m impressed.
I asked him if I could have it.
He said, “Yea, it’s a tick.”
Then I had a good laugh.
Our winter was very mild and so we’re already battling ticks this year. Both of the dogs are on Revolution and bathed regularly. They are also inside dogs, but in spite of that we still find swollen momma ticks here and there. It really is unnerving.
But this? THIS cracks me up.
It’s like a superhero momma tick.

I think that tick could have its own Cartoon Network show. Copyright that thing!
Hearing Kenny describe it reminds me of a ‘bad guy’ the Incredibles would fight off…
Truly disgusting.
Second that…we have Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles….why not a superhero mamma tick ? Minus the Rocky Mtn Spotted Fever of course. Unless she can selectively zap bad guys with it.
Oh man… I see syndication….
Maybe he could just join up with some new superhero force. Instead of the old Retro force The Tick he could do the remakes. Everything ten years old or older is being remade. I say let Kenny do the work, he’s tick is better looking!
I love this picture. You need to have it framed and write something about it and stick it in the frame too.
Well, I don’t think I have ever seen such an attractive looking tick. At least not in the growing collection that have bitten me.
Yes…me. My cat likes to share, she’s nice that way. She shares my bed too.
I once had one in my scalp towards the front, and I tend to have an overly severe reaction to them. So for the following week and a half I looked like I had been the recipient of an over indulgence of botox. No more wrinkles that week. In fact I could actually leave a fingerprint in my forehead. Oh…that was attractive.
We also get those stupid little grass ticks where we live. (Our back fence is good old Aussie bushland). Those little munchkins are no bigger than a period at the end of a sentence. Hard to remove too.
So I will happily take Kenny’s super duper coloured and symmetrical tick any day over the ones my skin tends to attract.
Superhero Tick…that’s awesome!
