Have you heard of the Reverse Graffiti Project sponsored by Green Works? Seriously, I think I'm gonna hire this guy to come do this in my shower.

You’ll notice that I ditched sk*rt and am no longer an editor there. Nope, decided it’d be in my best interest to move forward, and become an editor for kirtsy instead.
If you haven’t figured it out already…there are a heck of a lot of places you can go to read about the name change over in “non-pants-ville”; seriously, I think sk*rt kirtsy came out on top–and obviously had to ditch the sk*rt to wear the pants and maintain good humor and self-respect in what could have very well been a very dirty fight.
Dirty fight you say?
Oh yes, those women over at Skirt Magazine (not linked on purpose - let them find their own site visitors) are somehow concerned about the popularity of our kirtsy (prevously sk*rt). In fact, they were so worried about the growing popularity of the-site-previously-known-as-Sk*rt, that they decided it’d be better to threaten a lawsuit than to own up to the fact they were dumb enough not to purchase their own domain name in the first place.
But you know what? WE DON’T NEED THEIR STINKIN SKIRT! Nope, not when we could kirtsy threat-free.
And so the previous sk*rt is now kirtsy, and you’d do well to remember it because THIS WEEK you can win over $1000.00 in prizes.
I’ll give you a moment to pick your jaw up off the floor. Oh, and here’s a rag to wipe away the drool.
Done? Good.
Now, go here for details.

you are a true kick in the pants…
i especially like your tony montana impression…we don’ need no stinkin’ skirt…with a heather kind of a twist.
{and to think i was soundly sleeping while all this was abuzz…}
I totally hope that they hold onto the url FOREVER just to thwart those hosers.
So are men welcome to Kirtsy, now that all the women are skirtless? Wait, men don’t kirtsy….Nevermind.
But what if I wear a kilt? Oh, forget it. Too drafty.
Hi there! To look on the positive side, I hadn’t really looked at the site before as I thought your link to sk*rt was related to Skirt magazine (which I already read) so I never clicked on it. It is less confusing now and the new logo and name looks fab.
Woo hoo! You go Heath-AH! Kirtsy rules.
hurrah kirtsy! woot! woot!
Mr. OMSH, it’s a bunch of ladies without skirts on. They can hardly beat the men back.

Off to check it out. I don’t know anything about the drama, but I get the cutest image in my head every time I see kirtsy :-)
Thanks for the back story on the change. I was a bit confused. Yeah I won’t be going to that magazine. I had a company threaten me with a law suit over using Love Potion #9 on a candles. The have the rights even though the scent I bought not from them was that. That is neither here nor there.
The logo looks fab!
Can’t load my Prince Caspian Widget nor the Kirsty button.
Really need to find an online class.
Well, I had no idea about the controversy. Stinky… Incidentally, I just sign-up for Kirtsy early this evening. I hapened upon Sk-rt a few days ago, loved it, and saw the new name… I need to get the button on my post pages (may take a bit more mind-effort for me), but have the badge up already!
I guess I’m still a little too sleepy to understand the fuss. If Skirt Magazine has their name and logo copyrighted, aren’t they in the right?
Any way,I think the name Kirtsy is cute and catchy. It doesn’t look like any of this has harmed them.
