    We call her Tutu.

We’ve been pretty unproductive around here today. I had a strong start - GOT OUT OF BED, put something other than pjs on, and fixed me and Kenny scrambled eggs, toast, and some fresh blueberries and strawberries. Emelie, our early riser, had eaten already, and Meredith wasn’t hungry. Then, 30 minutes later I was nauseated and laid back down until a friend of mine picked up Kenny for a play date.

Meredith and Emelie hung out quietly (bless them) in Em’s room until Kenny got home and then Meredith prepared to leave for her play date. With all the comings and goings around here the day went by pretty fast, but I’ve had literally nothing blogworthy…until about a half hour ago when Emelie ran in here with Mer’s tutu on her head.

    Priceless.
    Made my day.

I love that your kids are so creative an spontaneous…I need to work on mine some more! They love crafts, as lon as they involve army men and Lego Star Wars. hope you are feeling much better, I am working hard at eating radishes and drinking organic apple juice so I don’t have to have mine out! hang in there and get well soon!

Wow, you are ahead of me. I stayed in my sweats most of the day, and never got around to putting on make-up. I’m glad you are feeling better. It is no fun to be sick, and then to have surgery. That is so great that you have family around that the kids have fun with. God bless you with continued health and strength as you heal.

That is a fun way to use a tutu :)

She reminds me of Scarlet O’Hare in need of something! I saw the photo on Flickr and had to laugh. I have been keeping up with you on Flickr. Not feeling well myself so no real blog hopping for me.
I can’t believe what is happening with you and I hope that you rest and let yourself heal. My thoughts are with you and yours.

You just reminded me that I have raspberries out back to pick for breakfast!

Glad you’re starting to feel better!

that’s why I had my children. other than free slave labor (according to the oldest lol), they are an endless source of cheer when your feeling pretty badly.. or sadly.. or just having a terrible no good very bad day.

Your girl.. she’s priceless and she knows her mama. beautiful thing that.

Sometimes a tutu is all it takes.

Not only did she put the tutu on her head…she let you take a picture! And a dramatic one at that. You are truly blessed.

      Feel better.
