The 2nd Annual OMSH Christmas Coloring Uncontest
I said I wasn’t going to do it. I said there were just too many things to try to shove into the season to do it. And yet, I can’t resist.
I am continuing the Annual OMSH Christmas Coloring Uncontest.
If you weren’t around OMSHville last Christmas then you missed the FIRST Annual OMSH Christmas Coloring Uncontest, where I received a cornucopia of colossal coloring contributions (heh heh) and it is time…OH YES! It is time to do it again!
LET THE CHILDREN COLOR!
This year I have adjusted the age groups; children ages 3-12 can enter their coloring sheets in the uncontest. I’m even more excited than last year because there are two coloring sheet choices for you and yours thanks to the graciousness of the only illustrator to ever bring OMSH to life, Secret Agent Josephine. (If there isn’t a standing ovation for her, there should be.)
Details
Step 1: Download and print one (or both) of the following coloring sheets from the links below the image.

JUST FOR GRINS:

[Download Last Year's Christmas Color Sheet]
Step 2: Have your child(ren) color either of the two coloring sheets and then either take a photo of the colored picture with your child(ren) or, if you don’t want your child(ren)’s photo online, just take a photo or scan in the coloring sheet all by its lonesome.
Step 3: Send the photo or scan to me, with the age of your child written on it, to heather@ohmystinkinheck.com as an attachment by the deadline, Christmas Eve (12/24/08) at midnight (CST). The winner will be announced on Christmas Day with their special “Christmas Gift” mailed before the NEW YEAR!
All photos will be uploaded to a special Christmas 2008 OMSH flickr set to show off your child’s coloring sheet! Be sure to give only your child(ren)’s first name and age. If you desire a link back to your blog, you may send me the URL to your blog too.
How does your child win?
There will be a drawing based on ages; this contest is NOT JUDGED. The groups will be divided in ages 3-5, 6-9, and 10-12 with one drawing per age group. There are three different prizes to win!
Prizes
Ages 3-5 Winner will receive one (1) Melissa and Doug Deluxe Standing Easel. The Easel is 5.5 x 25 x 29 inches and is outfitted with an extra-large chalkboard, dry-erase board, and easy-load paper roller. Paper and art supplies will have to be provided by you, the parent, but hey, I’ll get you started at least!

Ages 6-9 Winner will receive one (1) Green Razor A Kick Scooter. Made of a sturdy aircraft-grade aluminum, rear fender brake for quick stops, easy to transport with the patented T-tube and deck design, this scooter only weighs in at 6 pounds. Please note: there is not a wheelie bar or kickstand.

Ages 10-12 Winner will receive one (1) Flybar Foam Master BLACK LIGHTNING Pogo Stick. A rugged metal frame is covered in precision-made foam and the replaceable nonslip footpads and easy-grip handles are supposed to help you stay in control; I beg to differ. In a word? This thing is COOL!

And that’s it!
So here’s the recap.
- Download color page(s).
- Let your child(ren) color the color page(s).
- Take a photo or scan in color page (with or without your child) and send it to me with your child’s first name and age.
- Wait for the Christmas Day Drawing
- Know that no matter how many coloring pages your child colors, his/her name will only be submitted once.
It is EASY!
It is FUN!
The prizes rock the casbah!
Please note: Your child MUST color, marker, mosaic, pencil, or whatever else…the coloring sheets by hand; please no illustrator submissions. Due to time constraints, all images must be sent digitally via the email address listed above; no coloring sheets will be accepted by mail this year. *Sorry*

19 have spoken up.

I am sure my kiddos will be entering, if only for the chance to add yet another Scooter to the obstacle course we call a patio.
And I would LOVE to see a WordPress Wednesday that shows how to add the pdf file for downloading…unless of course you’ve already done it :)

WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! LOL! My children now have a reason to live, and I will get at least ten minutes to go to the bathroom by myself!!!
Cuz that’s what it’s all about, right? The OMSH colouring uncontest… giving parents ten minutes to themselves all over the world!

My goodness the prizes are HUGE this year!! Wow.
We’ll be on these coloring pages like white on rice ;)

I’m so glad you decided to have it. My boys actually asked about it and I didn’t think it was going to be. We’ll get this in ASAP! Love that you gave us (them) a choice this year.
Gayle
Wow, those are some prizes! There’s no women 40-45 year old category? Darn.
Tabitha (From Single to Married)
Love it!! Too bad I don’t have kids yet, but still love it!
LizC
You have just made our 3.5yo a very, very, very happy girl.
“It’s a Happy Monsters Color Page!” (Happy jumping and running around, and dashing to get her colors box.
The big kids are trying to be mature… but they’re getting out the colors, too.
YOU ROCK. I need to get some orders out today, and this gives me the packaging-time.
Kate
Well, now I have a reason to buy some new ink cartridges for my printer. Yay!

You’re a star!
I am afraid to tell my kids about it. They always color them and I always neglect to send them in.

I’ll have to see if the girls can stop moving long enough to put a crayon to paper.
Techmomma
Cool, my 6 year old will be entering.
Mr. OMSH
How about some ‘big boy’ toys? How about a ping pong table, jacuzzi, air hockey, paintball guns, or a Star Wars pinball game…I’m just sayin’…
