This pretty much broke my heart when I read it last night. So so sad.

Oh my gosh- that is terrible. I am saying a prayer right now from Ohio for them.

I heard this earlier this morning - so horrible. I cannot imagine the pain and guilt her brother is going through.

    They’ll definitely need our prayers!

I saw that. It is so sad. That actually happened to my cousins child. It was devastating to the family as I’m sure it is to the Curtis family as well.

Okay, why I put the “Curtis family” I don’t know. I do know it’s the Chapman family. oops. :(

My heart is beyond broken for that young man, and the whole family… but what that teen must be going through. Oh my.

What a horrible thing to happen.

I wonder why they had to qualify “daughter” with “adopted” in the headline. As if that makes a difference.

This just broke my heart. It has always been one of my biggest fears that something like this would happen in our family, especially with the age differences of our kids. I worry so much about their boy. I hope he’ll be OK.

That’s so sad. I used to listen to SCC’s music all the time as a teenager, and his “I Will Be Here” is one of my all-time favorite songs.

They will be in my thoughts and prayers.
