I received a sweet toddler treat from a 4 year old affectionately called Stinkbug by her mother.
Okay, so age four isn’t really “Toddler” anymore, but oh my goodness did my heart sing to receive this in my inbox yesterday.

The mother of this precious four year old wrote this:
Hi Heather. My little girl likes drawing a lot, & I often ask her what she’s drawing. The other day she had just finished a masterpiece, so I asked her what it was. She rolled her eyes & did a big impatient sigh, like DUH mom. “It’s the little monster from the coloring contest!” I couldn’t believe she remembered that- let alone remembering enough details to draw something sort of similar. So your little OMSH guy made quite an impression on her.
I have recently been inspired by a glimpse of one of Ed Emberley’s books over at Blue Yonder. After rushing over and adding them to my Amazon wish list, I thought perhaps another coloring contest should be drawing near.
And one LUCKY child.
A child CHARMED here in the month of March.
Might win an Ed Emberley book or two…or three.

What a great drawing by your little fan! Kids are the best at recalling things like this.
I too heart Ed Emberley books. When I was in elementary school I would constantly take then out of the library. We had waiting lists for them since they were so popular. Ah the memories!

What a sweet story! I never tire of art made by kids. It is all sorts of perfect.
Goes to show you…you never know who is looking/watching, nor the power your influence holds.
