Signs of Summer

The girls' first pedicure of the summer.

The girls had their toenails primped for summer. It’s fun watching them pick their colors and decide on a design. We were short on time, so I saved my session for another day; besides I hadn’t shaved and as much as I love having my calves and feet rubbed - I was too embarrassed to bare my hairy calves.

That’s what Mr. OMSH is for - he is the one to whom I can bare my hairy calves and crunchy heels. It’s just one of the ways I can tell of his deep and abiding love for me.

I just had this very experience - no foot love because I hadn’t prepared my Sasquatch-like legs…So the husband got a few scratches. It’s part of the job, I say.

The pink & green toes are darling! Jealousy.

    Beautiful choices, so festive!

ah- love that! My man also has to deal with me…I am going to make a summer change though- I realized last week that I spent more time primping for the gyno than I had him in a while :) HA!

    Cool pic! :)

Very cute picture! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a good pedicure! My daughter & I have been doing foot baths at home lately … we change our toe color every week! :)

OMSH, you can’t help it if you’re granola, crunchy, and of good German stock.

What does it for me, actually, are the hairy armpits…and associated odors.

Very cute. I just painted my little daughter’s toenails for the first time (she’s 2.5) and she loves them! Has to show everyone.

ah yes, I am sitting here figuring out how to hide my hairy legs tomorrow as I have to teach sunday school to 13 year old girls. I am trying to get the hair long enough for an effective leg waxing.
I have also skipped pedicures for that exact reason.

The girls’ Nana always does this for them too. It is how you know it is truly summer. So funny about your feet…last night I cut my boyfriend’s toenails for him. Alot of info I know, but when I was done he looked at me with the dewiest look on his face, and said “Aw, you do love me!”

    Fun colors!!!
My last pedicure included hairy legs.
I forgot. And they were really hairy.
My poor 18 year old daughter was mortified.
