Safety Girl Emergency Roadside Kit Giveaway!

Safety Girl Roadside Emergency Kit Giveaway

Well, our Merlot and Lipstick April Giveaway seemed to be a big hit and I really enjoyed perusing y’all’s favorite blog posts, thank you. Now that I’ve mailed off April’s prize to frugalmom, I’m ready for another giveaway! This contest will be a bit different, but everyone 18 years or older is invited to play – and yes, even participate in choosing the winner.

How to Play

First, there are 3 (three) categories and 1 (one) prize will be awarded for each category. You can ONLY participate in ONE of the 3 Categories, so choose your category carefully.

So let me list the Categories and you pick yours.

  • True Roadside Emergency Story. Real life is some of the greatest fodder. Think back to a real-life roadside emergency experience. Perhaps you got pulled over by the fuzz, perhaps you had a flat tire, perhaps you desperately needed to pee … whatever it was, write about it on your blog. Once you write about it on your blog, come back and link to your True Roadside Emergency Story in the comments on the May 2007: Safety Girl Entries post.
  • Roadside Emergency Photo. This can be an actual shot or a re-enactment. It “can” involve people, but it doesn’t have to. It can be serious, funny, artistic, whatever … but it has to be a photo. Post it on your blog or in your flickr and come back and link to your Roadside Emergency Photo in the comments on the May 2007: Safety Girl Entries post.
  • Roadside Emergency Free Form. Don’t have a photo or an actual True Roadside Emergency experience? No problem. Be creative. Write a song, a poem, a short story with the theme “Roadside Emergency” as the subject. Post it on your blog, or in your flickr and link to your Roadside Emergency Free Form entry in the comments on the May 2007: Safety Girl Entries post.

Have you picked your category yet?

Good.

Next, go and do it.
Yep, that’s it.

You have until midnight (CST) on Wednesday, May 16, 2007, to get your entry in. Comments will be closed after that.

Judging

YOU are the judges. Yes, you – as well as other visitors to this website. A voting poll will be put into place that will allow each site visitor one vote in each category. Yes, you may vote for yourself. The poll will be open one full week – until midnight (CST) May 23, 2007.

Winners

Winners will be announced based on the poll results. The prize for each category is one (1) Safety Girl Emergency Roadside Kit. Prizes will be mailed directly from Safety Girl within 48 hours of the polls’ close.

Questions? Ask them on this post.
