True Roadside Emergency Story:

This one has multiple parts!
1. The Neon can burn in HELL!
2. The Price of Repairing Red Plastic
3. Can the Neon take any more?

Sorry for so much posting there, just thought I’d include the whole saga. This all happened in 2004.

Oh buddy do I ever have a True Roadside Emergency Story!

This is my nightmare.

kerflop

Okay, mine is a true story. Here’s the link: http://kerflop.com/2005/07/26/itching-burning-blistering-streaks-of-death/

Am I doing this right?

SmocknMama

OK. Written just for you. :) Actually I’ve been told before by a few friends (from year ago) who’ve heard me tell this, that I should record it and post it for posterity’s sake, because my sarcasm runs so rich and deep that it can only, truly be appreciated in story-telling mode.

SmocknMama

Oh, and it’s a true story if the title doesn’t say that clearly enough.
;)

There is a second (click to the next on our photostream). We were on our way to our wedding in northern Maine and my husband suddenly swerved. I thought we were headed over the guardrail. Turns out Mr. Animal Lover was just avoiding a large turtle. The thing promptly hid under the car we spent the next half hour coaxing him out. The he tried to eat John. A good day.

Chris

I freeformed. And yes, that’s as scary as it sounds.

Mine is for the photo category. I think it’s more of a driveway-side emergency than a roadside emergency but it’s a favorite at my house:
