Once upon a time (for a very short time, due to either undiagnosed ADHD or a lack of stick-to-it-tive-ness) I ran a Shopping blog on a separate site. The site was called OrganizeHer; get it? I know, isn’t that sooooooo cute. I digress…

It was my desire to inspire women to get their spaces, lives and thoughts organized in a uniquely feminine way. I did not accept monies to post products, services, and/or sites, but instead I selected those products that I felt did a bang-up job of merging function, organization and aesthetics. I loved it, but I did NOT love posting to two different blogs. You could say I was lazy … I’m going to reframe that mindset and say I’m “streamlining.” Surely you agree that is a good thing for a busy momma, no?

Anyway, previous to coming down it looked something like this:

Since I post nearly everything that comes across my browser or my mind here, it felt like the perfect venue to blend both my personal life and the things I wanted to post at the shopping blog. So … I have moved the shopping blog over here - and you will see the products I adore/love interspersed with the daily posts.

I have created a category, Cool Crap, for it in honor of Jessica , who told me a couple of weeks ago on the phone, “You know, you just need to call it cool crap or something.” Yes, indeed. Cool Crap will be coming to you live at OMSH, but … not on a schedule - and not dated - and not within a set price range (b/c sometimes one needs to post a picture of a $400.00 Child’s Pick-Up Truck/Chair and just oooh and ahhh knowing one would never have the funds - or if one did, spend the moolah - to buy it, right?).

   No more OrganizeHer? I can understand the tediousness of posting in multiple blogs, but the domain was genius! But if people are still getting the 411 on the organizing goods, it works. I wondered why your comment on my site was attributed to OMSH instead of OrganizeHer now! I guess this explains it, huh?

   Aw, I loved that domain, but I totally get the need for streamlining. Can you forward the OrganizeHer domain name to your “cool crap” category here??

   I just typed in the oganize her linkety-loo and came here - i had to double check what i had typed. lol - i did it three times before reading what was there in front of my face. i’ll chalk it up to nursing while typing and the 103.7 fever i have right now (get everyone else well from the flu then i get it and all i can say is OMSH and i’m not so sure stands for stinkin’ at the moment!)
