Late night or early mornings?

So, is it considered night or morning when you go to bed at 4:30?

We called it night-time. The 6:30 wake-up came early. It is 8:30 now and I’ve been up for a little over an hour, but honestly, I can’t say I’m actually awake. Which is scary, because I drove the kids to school.

I am totally willing to sacrifice sleep for this lovely lady and her clan. Hey, check out her fingers…she’s like Dash on the keyboard.

She types so fast...

What did we do? Well, I wanted Bethany to understand the quaintness of small town life, so I did what I do with everyone that comes to visit…I took her to Walk*mart.

Stop laughing.

No, I didn’t take my camera.

Hey, I said to stop laughing.

What did we do with Jeff and Troy? We left them to the Xbox. I’m not sure they noticed us leaving.

Later on I wanted to capture a shot of the guys yapping away (Anyone who thinks girls talk more than guys is completely insane - we just talk LONGER.), but they just couldn’t get with the program.

Positioning my camera on the back of a chair as an impromptu tripod, I told them to be natural and not to look at me. So what did they do?

You guessed it.

Jeff and Troy

So, I gave them a second chance.

They blew it.

We tried again...

See if you can hear Troy, “What? I’m not supposed to smile at the camera?”

Right.

BE NATURAL.

Goobers - the both of them.

Still, we’re having a fabulous time. And? Once I had Bruno sniff-out Troy, I was confident they weren’t any weird internet people coming to scope out the house for a hit.

So, um...is this a horse?

Where was Annalie? Sleeping. She fell asleep about a half hour out from our house and hardly stirred when she was carried in by Troy. She was up bright and early to see the kids off to school.

I’m glad you guys are having such a good time. It looks like a lot of fun!

Also I totally hear you about Wal*Mart. There have been many late nights in my life that have gone,”I;m bored. What do you want to do?” “I don’t know…Want to go to Wal*Mart and walk around?” “Yeah!”.

Truly a store I can not stand, but I don’t think Target is going 24 hours any time soon.

**huge gasp!!** Bethany came to visit?!?! YOU are actually getting to enjoy Lil Miss Annalie?!?!? I am so jealous! J/K

You all enjoy your visit. I think it’s great when ‘internet people’ are comfortable enough to actually get together in real time versus their virtual visits online. Ya’ll have fun!

    Oh looks like fun!!!

You mean all these blogs I read are REAL LIFE PEOPLE?

Sometimes I forget. Sometimes I forget that people actually read the things I have to say and then they ask me about them in real life.

    It’s kind of creepy.

    Maybe it’s just me.

I hope you guys have a great visit! Wish I was there :)

    Ooo. Fun!!

I hear you on the Wal-Mart thing, too. Growing up in a town of 5,000 people, Wal-Mart was THE place to hang out. Actually, in high school, it was the parking lot that was the cool spot. Only the grown-ups actually went inside.

Now, whenever I go home to visit, invariably I run into everyone I know in Wal-Mart. It’s like a little impromtu highschool reunion! (I always have to make sure I have my good lipgloss on before I go in.) ;)

I have so lived in a town like that, in fact the one I live in now isn’t too far off from that.

But here everyone hangs out at the DQ. But then the DQ is closed for the winter, which makes me wonder where everyone is hanging out at now… probably the Wal-Mart…

    LOL

Psst… you’ve been given the got snark? Blog Award…

Glad to read you guys are having fun!! When Bethany falls asleep, put her hand in a bowl of warm water, OK? :)

Bethany… put some shaving cream in Heather’s hand and tickle her nose with a feather.

    Hilarity ensues.

What? No.. I’m not 14… why do you ask?
