    Ingredients for a Good Friday

First, you get out ALL of the Play-Doh. Not a little bit at a time, mind you. You must take EACH and EVERY color out ALL AT ONCE.

    Recipe for a Good Friday

Once all the colored Play-Doh is out and smashed into the mat on the table, you work for 2 1/2 hours (God bless Play-Doh©) to form random types of food. Green Beans, Pizza, Carrot Slices…y’know, the good stuff.

Next, you set a table for your “babies”…aka the Webkinz© who choose to attend. Kenny’s kangaroo is named Ken. Surprised? Yes, well…Ken needed quite a boost up apparently.

    Booster

    Yes, that’s much better.

“What’s this?” Ken asks. “Hot Peppers? Um…can I request Lizzie’s kolaches? I’m not too partial to hot peppers.”

    Webkinz© are so stinkin’ picky.

    Jack is ready to eat.

“Can somebody help me over here?” Lizzie asks. “I can’t even SEE my food.”

    A few more books, please.

Billy Bob wants to know if Em has made a vegetarian pizza.

“I simply CANNOT eat pepperoni!” he asserts.

    Is this a vegetarian pizza?

With all the requests fulfilled and all questions answered, everyone is up to the table for a delightful meal care of their two hosts, Emelie and Kenny.

Kenny tops off their drinks before we clear the table to begin our own lunch.

    Such a good host.

May your Good Friday be just as good.

AHHHHH the world of imagination and Play-Doh.
God Bless you and your family as you celebrate this Easter weekend.

    2. Aileen

How sad is it that these Webkinz are living a more exciting life and eating better than I am right now?

Our Ash Wednesday church services were cancelled due to snow and I have a feeling our Good Friday service will suffer the same fate. It’s been snowing since around 8:00am and by the time it’s done tonight we could have a foot to fifteen inches of snow. Happy Spring from Wisconsin!

What a great post. Someone got my 5 year old a case of 50 playdohs for Christmas. Yes, 50. And yes she has to get them all out at once. But I tell ya, a 5 year old with ADHD playing with one toy for any thing of time makes my heart sing. I too thank the good lord for Play-Doh. Hope you and your family have a blessed Easter.

And I see my little OMSH coloring uncontest participants over there. Awww!

      That is so cute!

I have a question for you about your photos. Do you have to resize them in photoshop before you upload them to flickr? I have been thinking about doing something with my kids shots and that sounds like a good idea. Are you going to change all your existing flickr shots, or just start doing it with your new photos? Thanks!

Totally random? BigBrother played with Play-Doh for the first time yesterday (Good Friday). So this made me smile. :)

Yes, I’m a bad Mom and he hadn’t played with Play-Doh yet but he has texture issues and, truth be told, so do I!

    15. Karen (submommy)

Kolaches? You have some Czech/Slavic background? Kolaches are an in-law family staple.

And Play doh is a go-to toy around these parts. Looks like fun!

    16. Rebecca

That is so awesome! I love it!

    17. Rachel

Sounds like a whole lot of fun! Webkinz rock!!!
