Okay, so I alluded to another giveaway, but I just had to wait for Valentine’s Day to put it into play; it’s all about the LOVE baby.

This exciting gift (or exciting for me, at least) is a plush of one of my favorite varieties; the ONEYEs.

This Specialty ONEYE LILY has been custom-made specifically for the Lovely Lily store found in The Netherlands. A gift from The Netherlands? Just from OMSH? Oh yes, yes indeedy.

Of course, before you adopt the ONEYE LILY you’ll want to know a bit more about her…

What must you do to enter?

Well folks, consider this a Scavenger Hunt of Love.

• Comb the world of flickr and select ONE photo that includes a heart in it somewhere (yes, it can be from your own collection, but not from mine).
• Then, come back here and link it. I will select my FAVORITE heart photo from all linked.
• REMEMBER - ONLY ONE contribution per blogger.

Remember my fabulously creative mother?

She has moved on to her own Etsy store, Gypsy Feather, and is selling out of her Petit collections d’objets a few hours after listing them, so be sure to view her sold collections to get a view of what she has available in her store.

What is a Petit Collection? I’ll let my mother speak for herself:

Each collection is unique - never to be reproduced again - and comprised of an eclectic mix of vintage items collected over the years, together with a few select contemporary objects tucked in now and again. In each vignette you’ll find a special assortment of treasures including some of the following: buttons, beads, jewelry, jewelry bits and pieces, charms, trinkets, pearls, lace, linens, ribbons, tassels, trims, crystals, rhinestones and more.

 

These petit collections are designed to inspire creativity through altered art, embellished clothing, jewelry, collage, gift packaging, crazy quilting, scrapbooking, mosaics mixed media…and other artistic endeavors. They’re ideal for the artist who doesn’t want a whole lot of one thing…rather a smattering of many.

She has other items too - my favorite being her lanyards that can double as truly beautiful necklaces when worn with a pendant.

She’s also included some hand-made shaker tassels and of course, her custom cowgirl couture.

Of course everything she creates is as unique as she is, and believe me, this woman has flair! So give her a visit and keep your eye out for her collections. She tries to put up a few at a time, but they don’t stay long.

    I am so glad I found this photo. It is gorgeous artistically, and is rich with symbolic inspiration. Even the heaviest barrier holds a heart for us to find as we help children in places as far away and as challenging as Africa.
