I’m headed out the door with Mr. OMSH. We have an important date with some chile con queso, chips, tortillas, guacamole…lots of guacamole, cilantro - in everything and anything, and much, much more.
There are few things as magnificent as Mexican food.
I just know there will be Mexican food in heaven.
Wear a giant coconut bra?
hahahah, i slay me.
Mexican Food is the absolute best! I’m going to post my all time favoritest Enchiladas Verdes recipe this week. It is to drool forever for!
Hope your Mexican Food was all you wanted it to be!!
Now those will be some nice looking upside down tomatoes!
Amen.
Today was a good day for gardening in these parts, too!
I think your post will convince Mr. Sugarpants. ;)
MUCH better than buckets!
I couldn’t agree more, because really what is more heavenly than a basket of tortilla chips, guacamole & salsa?!
mmmmm…
Will we eat in heaven? I thought there was just Philadelphia cream cheese there.
I hope you have a GREAT date!
Mrs. Wilson - There had BETTER be Mexican food in heaven or I might have to have a conference with the Big Man himself.
Of course He could probably make cardboard taste like heaven *der*
carrie - it was soooooooo good
karen - I’ll post more photos of the process tomorrow - when I’m not feeling so lazy.
We also planted the blueberry bushes and put up a mess protective covering to keep the birds from eating our “crop”.
Assertagirl - It was hot here…but even dripping in sweat, it was good.
Capturing Today - Ding*ding*ding! You got it!
rachel - Hey, email me and remind me to look when you do. That sounds wonderfully tasty!
jessica - I’m totally telling Jeff that you know his secret. And he thought he was so sneaky.
I like to believe that the Streets of Gold are actually paved with guacamole and bordered by cilantro. With an ice cold Dos Equis waiting for me.
I could eat Mexican food every.single.day. It’s a good thing I don’t live in Texas where it’s probably on every street corner. It’s bad enough I live in the Pacific NW where there’s a coffee stand on every street corner (not a joke).
Oh, I should have invited you here last night. There was mucho Mexican food. Next time!
Woohoo for Chili’s. That is my favorite restaurant.
Here in the mid-west we can get a few true Mexican meals. Nothing like what you got down there. Outside meals are great! We had pancakes for breakfast and ate outside and ended up sitting out there for 2 hours just talking as a family.
SparklieSunshine - Oh, we go to a place called Don Rafa’s, NOT Chili’s when we want Mexican food. :)
There is most definitely Mexican food in my heaven!!!
I might have agreed about four months ago, but then I discovered Indian food. And chicken tikka masala. Ohhhh lord.
