These are the memories that linger. The house is quiet, the chores are done, and the kids have long since fallen asleep after a half hour of blanket giggles, whispers, and ‘just one more sip of water’ trips to the rest room.
Mr. OMSH puts in a below par movie, but that isn’t significant. What matters is we’re here together, on the couch, sharing glances, touching, loving, being…its all I hoped for and more.

Those are my favorite times too. I’m also with you on the below par movies. They suck. But loving husbands are SO worth it.
It’s the best part of the day, isn’t it?
Snuggle-movie-alone time is so much more romantic than all that silly roses and fancy dinners out.
