Day 3 – A dozen snooze settings later…
Some mornings are, for whatever reason, significantly harder than others. I hit snooze a dozen times or so this morning; it wasn’t enough.
One of my first gifts to Jeff when we were dating was a framed copy of Marcel Duchamp’s "Nude Descending a Staircase". It rests against our bathroom window and made for a post-shower backdrop for today’s 7 Days assignment.
Today is my baby’s birthday; he’s 7. My Dad mentioned something about that making me old, but since “his” baby is 37 I think he might want to rethink that statement (heh heh).
Hope to have a more upbeat, less under-the-weather contribution tomorrow.

7 have spoken up.

I hate mornings like that. Fortunately, I have more good ones than bad ones. Tell Kenny “Happy Birthday”. Wishing my baby was still 7 . . . . well sort of . . . no, not really. : )
Dad
Just remember, even God waited until the 7th day before He rested. You’ll be OK.

This year SuperChic’s birthday was much harder on me than past years. Sometime in the last year she went from being my little girl to a little person with a HUGE personality. I keep getting glimpses of what she’s going to look like at 13, 16, 18 (?!?) and frankly it scares the crap out of me.
Tell Kenny happy birthday and that being 7 rocks.

Oh, honey — some days I feel like I’m wading though water all day.
And my tall boy turned 18 last month. Completely weirded me out.

Happy birthday, Kenny!
And oh, do I know those hit-the-snooze-repeatedly mornings.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENNY!!
ps. I think you’re pretty. You, Heather, not Kenny. Not that he’s NOT pretty, I wasn’t talkin’ about him :)

today was an exception because i needed to shower, but when i’m working the day shift (8 am to 4 pm) the snooze button is my best friend in the morning. mornings would be a whole lot more tolerable if they began somewhere around 2 pm or so.
Comment if ya wanna.
