Besides the fact that all forms of organization makes me want to swoon, when you merge the words closets and guru into the same URL...I am SO THERE.

There is hardly anything more exciting than turning into the driveway and spotting a package on the front porch. Weeeeeeee! Although it is always nice when it is something I’ve purchased for myself, it is even more exciting when I’m clueless…when it is a SURPRISE.
Oh how I LOVE surprises!
This week I received TWO surprises. The first that arrived was from long-time friend, Kim of Mommy Knows. A while back I commented on her blog, oohing and ahhhing over some pencils her daughter Georgia received from her eldest daughter, Hayley. The pencils had been shipped from Brazil, so never in a million years did I expect to get some for myself.
And yet…I did!
And in case you are in the least bit curious, I used the orange first.
Thanks again Kim, Hayley, oh…and Georgia, for not eating the tips off mine!
Now for the second arrival!
Have I mentioned how spoiled I am before? I have? Oh, well…I didn’t want you guys to think I wasn’t grateful. I don’t deserve a lick of it, but am so thankful for how my spirits can be lifted with such thoughtful gestures.
This was more than a gesture - this took some time. Apparently more than Bethany expected. For those of you who read bethany actually, this will come as no surprise to you as she’s already featured my Crocheted OMSH on her own blog.
What she didn’t show you - because she did not want to ruin the surprise for me - was a special “something-something” on OMSH’s back shoulder.
Look familiar?
Thanks so much Bethany; I LOVE IT!
And thank y’all for letting me share my goodies with you!
Dare I say Lil’ OMSH looks REALLY happy to see you?!?
Did I just say that out loud?
What great surprises! I LOVE the surprise “tatoo” — that’s just brilliant!
So cool. The pencils are very neat!
-T- That’s what I was thinking too! But still sooo cute. And cool pencils too! Yay for surprises!
-T- - The grass was wet and I wanted an outside shot so I propped him on a shepherd’s hook. heh heh
heatheribabble - For shame! hahahahaha
That IS perfect!! I’m sure that took some time. Maybe she should have hung it on something else. It looks like it has an additional anatomy. Funny!!
Oh, BTW, your last post -I feel the S.A.M.E. way as Mr. OMSH when I am at my in-laws. I don’t, I suck it in and pretend like it interests me. But I sure get sleepy eyes and have uncontrolled yawning fits!!
Angela Tippets - I took that picture and never considered everyone would think the hook was a penis … awww well.
Don’t get me wrong - Mr. OMSH loves my father and enjoys interacting, but when things get quiet, he’s out like a light ANYTIME and ANYWHERE.
Bethany is so awesome! Talented too!!
You have such nice friends. :)
…and little ol’ me ran right from my reader to comment because OMSH! didn’t she realize that her positioning was a little, uh, PHALLIC?!
I had to scroll back up and look at the hook…lol
My hubby bought some really cool pencils similar to those in Germany quite a few years ago…we still have them and I LOVE them. They’re great for little fingers, and they write like a dream. Aren’t you so luck to be so spoiled.
Too cute! How lucky of you to get two fab packages on the same day!
That rocks! I love the OMSH doll.
I am glad you got that it was supposed to be a tattoo. ;-)
A package was left on our front porch, but it was for someone on 61st rd NOT 182nd rd.
That is why I use the 4 extra zip code digits.
JackieW - Oh wow, what a disappointment!
Oh my lord, that OMSH is too darn cute.
I love the little crocheted OMSH thing and I JUST noticed the changed OMSH thing on your page, sitting by the lime tree!! I so love it!! The pencils rock!
Dear Bethany,
Why did you pose the Little OMSH in THAT position? It looks painful…Just saying (from a guy’s perspective). It is WAY cool…
Mr. OMSH - Um…are you that…er…um…blind? That is OUR BACKYARD - MY PICTURE.
Those are so nice! I love your OMSH doll. How cute is she?
I’m glad you liked them Heather. WOW on the OMSH doll … too cute!
