At times, it is potentially hazardous to roll-over in bed.

Why I couldn't roll over this morning.

Sometime between 6:30 and 8:00 this morning a construction zone appeared on Jeff’s side of the bed. Thankfully, I was given some warning before I did my usual, “steal Jeff’s pillow and flop over to his side” routine.

I don’t know why, but Jeff’s side always feels so much BETTER than my side in the morning.

    BUT–this morning?
    Not really.

    Nope, not bed bugs.

It’s awesome that Kenny wants to play near you! :) My heart melts every time my son asks me to cuddle with him. I know someday, cuddles with Mommy won’t rank on his “Top 10 Favorite Things” list.

I do the same thing. And for some reason the sleep I get after Noah gets out of bed is the BEST EVER.

Nice job on the construction, Kenny!

This is happening to me as I type. Legos are the best.

    4. Elizabeth

Looks like a comfy place to play ;)

      hahaha!
actually my son’s bed seriously looks like this all the time. i think there is some magnetic attraction to hot wheels and legos or something.

Oh my! That is too funny! I do that flop over thing, too! What is about that that is so satisfying!?

That could have been a real pain in the back! I stripped Westley’s bed and found 6 pairs of socks at the end. Bradley sleeps with DVDs. Kalleigh has books in her bed.
      Good thing you were forewarned!

This is a very familiar scene. Very.

    9. Angella

Hee! Kenny and Graham would be fast friends - G is all about the Lego lately :)

:) at least you were saved from stepping on them…sort of :)

I love reading these comments…They make me feel…so…typical and normal.

It is amazing to me the things I find in my kids beds. What’s even more amazing is the things I find that they have put in MY bed!! glad to know I’m not the only one!

Hey, *I* end up with socks at the bottom of my bed. What happens is this: my husband complains I have Cold Feet of Death ™, so I put on socks before bed. But really, I’ve been way too warm since 1996, and once I’m sleeping, I push them off. But I push them off and NEST them, one inside the other, with my toes, while I’m sound asleep. So I end up with three or more sock balls at the end of the bed every week. And it’s really my husband’s fault, for being a big weenie and shrieking like a little girl when I put my Cold Feet of Death ™ on his warm knees for just a minute.

My husband’s side of the bed IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN MINE when he is not in it, too. WHY????

      KEEP BELIEVING

      OUCH!

    16. Mommy Cracked

Ouch! OK, so we NEED to see the picture of what is holding the necklaces on the wall by the bed. That looks so pretty!

Ha ha! This is why it’s often unsafe to even walk through my house! LOL
