…Mr. OMSH completed the rock path and he saw that it was good.
After 24 bags of river pebbles, and not a little “umph”, the rock path has been completed.
We still need to scrub the mold/moss/slime that has built up on the side of the house, get gutters to divert some of that water build-up, and I’ve got to save some money to buy my large pottery planters I want, but the path is DONE!
And?
Our little pot-bellied pig, Jack, did us the disfavor of pooping on it first thing.
Not gonna work li’l guy.
Jack is a bit of a ninny and doesn’t like his paws to get wet from the dew when he goes outside in the morning. Needless to say, we have a bit of training to do with this old dog. And this old dog? HE IS gonna learn a new trick - or at least a new place to deposit his tricks.
Eeeeww.
It looks awesome!
Funny, when I put pea gravel in our dog run, our dogs wouldn’t poop on it to save their lives. What the heck?!
Looks great!!
It does look great, but I must say all I can think of when I look at it is the dog yard we had when I was growing up and all the disgusting piles of (big) dog poop all over the rocks. Obviously Jack shares the vision.
I do think it look goods.
My back is appreciative that I am at work during the daytime and have to limit these “projects” to weekends.
Very nice.
Uhm… had not *met* Jack before. He is the cutest looking, low riding dog… I am smitten!
This looks FABULOUS! Great, great job!
The new path looks great. I see your ‘maters are looking great also. Mine is starting to bloom! If I survive Bible School this week I promise photos on my lovely ‘mater plant next week!
Very nice!! Much better than dirt.
And the “poop problem”…ewwwwww!
Good job, Daddy!! Mama, hope you have a good day on Monday!! Love, Meredith (Emelie and Kenny are not in the room right now!!)
Well done Mr. OMSH! Ah, the pain & reward of home improvement projects. :)
Very nice. Love the chicken by the fence. ang
Looks great!!!
Thanks y’all.
Angie - Grace RUNS (skitters?) to the fence anytime the back door opens. You see, it is ALL about her!
What a nice looking space!
Looks great, I want chickens too. So they can eat all the TICKS in our yard…yuck** Our dachshund doesn’t like to get her feet wet in the a.m. so she only puts her front 2 feet in the grass and pees on the patio. She would love to have a rock bed like Jack. Ha, Ha!
So, how did you get him to do it? My bags of mulch are NOW growing weeds, next to the weed pile that is to be my “landscaping”. You are one lucky lady. Wonderful work Mr OMSH
The path looks great!
Great job Mr. OMSH! Jack, behave! she sounds serious!
Looks great!!!
my husband says that I should be banned from your website as I keep getting all these wonderful ideas.
Shannon - WHAT? Banned from MY site. Well, please remind him that I only get a bug up my bum this time of year. Typically I’m quite boring.
heh heh
