  • Okay, I'm officially a flickr geek. I started a Chalkboard Walls group over at flickr. If you have one, please take a photo and add it. If you see one on flickr, send me the link so I can invite them.

  • I've officially had my morning cry. This is such a tragedy, but such a mark of a father's instinctual love for his 4 year old baby girl. Get some tissue before reading.

A lazy day in OMSH-ville

Colored clothing.

Back when the sun was throwing itself down on us in all its hotness and there was no cold in sight I wished after winter like I wish for a pair of red crocs.

Now, that the cooler weather has arrived it isn’t exactly as I would have liked it. Obviously I wasn’t specific enough with my request. I wanted cold, yes. I also want sun. Cold and sunshine - that’s the way I want it. I know, you’re saying, “So? Get over it.” Exactly.

In my attempt to “Get over it” I’ve pulled yet another fun craft off the catacombs of the world wide web at my new favorite Kid’s site, Kiddley. Catchy name, no?

Who can resist paper dolls? Not me. Nope. Especially not when I can download and print-out a template and matching clothing silhouettes for my girls to color in to their heart’s content.

I asked Kenny if he’d like to color paper dolls as well.

He tosses his head back with a huge You’ve got to be kidding me smile and says, “Um … no, SILLY!” And then, “They got boy stuff there?” Yes internet, I admit it, we force feed him hours of Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy DVDs to develop his communication skills and hone his redneck speech.

Paper dolls are for girls!

You can go here to download your own paper doll templates.

Paper Dolls! Those make me think of my mom - she says she always loved Paper Dolls when she was a girl. And today’s her 75th birthday! I’m sure she still loves them.

(You have a cute little Redneck there). ;-)
